Sustainathon

RemTech Europe is proud to host Sustainathon 2025, a virtual marathon taking place from 24 to 25 September 2025. The event will run in two segments:
14:00–22:00 CEST (UTC+2) on 24 September 2025
08:00–14:00 CEST (UTC+2) on 25 September 2025
Throughout the marathon, speakers from around the world will share what is unique and inspiring about their country’s progress toward one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Government officials and public sector leaders will present during hours suited to their local time zones. Each part will be hosted by thought leaders from national and international organizations. Sessions will feature two short presentations followed by audience Q&A and occasional special contributions.
As the virtual baton is passed from one time zone to the next, speakers will present during their local daylight hours. A rotating team of moderators will guide the sessions, introduce speakers, and engage with audience comments and questions.
Our goal is to highlight successful initiatives and innovative approaches from around the globe—stories that can inspire others and potentially be adapted in different contexts. Join us in showcasing global progress toward the SDGs and help spark ideas that can shape a more sustainable future.
