RemTech Expo, in the previous three editions, in 2007, 2008 and 2009,  obtained a great success in terms of exhibitors and visitors. It become in the same time the most important Italian event entirely dedicated to remediation of soil, sediments and groundwater and to requalification of the territory.

Qualified visitors in the last edition were more than 2500 (+30% that in 2008). Italian and foreign exhibitors were more than 110. The event was characterized by the bigger and renewed exhibition area and by a rich conferences program, thanking the coordination and planning of the Scientific Committee and the Advisory Committee, composed by professors coming from some of the most important Universities, public body representatives, associations and industrial realities.

The official conference session was in parallel with the technical meeting, organized by the exhibitors, and the special events, coordinated by the associations.

Some of the qualifying elements of 2009 edition was the institution of the RemTech Degree Awards for the best thesis developed in remediation of contaminated sites items and the improving of the international dimension with the presence of the foreign delegation coming from Cz Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary, and the realization of the international symposium.

The target of 2010 edition will be the reinforcement of the of public bodies presence who know the importance of its role for the protection of the environmental sustainability. The presence of the industrial realities will be improved as well, for defining and clarify all the resources involved in remediation items but also in prevention and protection of the environment and the health.

Some of the principal thematic will be improved and some new themes will be defined together with transversal themes development.

International dimension will be expanded on both exhibition area and conferences session.

Special moments and courses will crow the three days of RemTech Expo 2010 where different realities and point of view will be put in comparison in order to give to sectors of remediation of contaminated sites and requalification of the territory a new face, characterized by a clear profile with clear and concrete target.
